The allure of glass's fluidity captivated me at the tender age of fifteen, igniting a passion for the art of glassblowing that would soon consume my life. Through relentless practice, I honed my skills, deepened my knowledge, and nurtured an insatiable desire to advance in my craft.

Upon graduating from high school, I embarked on a journey to Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, where I immersed myself in the study of glassblowing. Under the guidance of numerous esteemed artists and through extensive travels to studios across the United States, my understanding of this medium blossomed. My artistic journey has been profoundly shaped by the Venetian style of glassmaking, as I diligently sought to master the technical intricacies necessary to articulate my creative vision.

In recent years, I've been fortunate to spend considerable time in the remote corners of the Pacific Northwest, particularly in southeastern Alaska. These experiences in the far north have imbued my artistic and philosophical perspectives.

In my current artistic endeavors, I aspire to transcend the traditional boundaries of glassmaking by infusing my creations with a primal essence, evoking a profound connection to the Earth. I have always been intrigued by the diversity and variation in the life that surrounds us. From the microscopic, single-celled organisms to the largest mammals, I view all beings with a sense of unwavering fascination, which has in turn influenced my work and life
